Tuesday, How are you today?  I went to bed early last night and got some much needed sleep.  Feel rested up today.  Suppose to snow 3-5 inches of snow again starting tonight.  I am so over this snow!!  Enough already.  With all this snow I bet we get some beautiful flowers and grass this spring!!

Monday, Happy Monday.  The day after the superbowl.  Hope your team won.  We went to a friends house.  We had squares.  Other than that not interested.  Not a sports fan.  Stuck with my diet.  Today is weigh in day.  I was doing so well and then had some emotional stuff started and Im a emotional eater.  So you know what happened.  So back to the beginning. 

Ground hog saw his shadow so winter isnt overwith.  Great.  We are making up for years past with hardly any snow.  Least in the spring the flowers and grass will be green.  We just have to get it here.

Working on a cowl.  Love the color.  Lumincello.  Dull lemon color.

Are you ready for the snow today?  To tell you the truth I am so tired of the snow.  Im not going out.  Im going to just sit all day and knit.  Ok maybe laundry will be done too.  Still making my scarf.

Happy Friday everyone!!  This has been one rough winter this year in Michigan.  Havent seen so much snow and cold temps!  Killing me.  I work at a school and do the snow.  Uggg Im not a winter fan at all.  One good thing is when it snows over the weekend I can do more knitting and crocheting!!  Hope it is over soon.

Last night I spent the night ripping out a nice cable scarf.  I made a mistake and I will not sell anything that I have made a mistake.  So unhappy.  So Im off to redo my scarf!!  I will post a picture when I get a few rows done.

Good Morning! This morning I am going to be ripping out a beautiful cable scarf I am making. I found a mistake and I hate having a mistake. A friend of mine said oh you cant really see it. I can. A cable stitch was going the wrong way. If I was a buyer and I saw that I would be disappointed. So Im ripping it out!!

My first day in Blogging

Hi, today is my first post on a blog.  What am I going to say or want to say?  What are you supposed to say on a blog.  Well, I guess on the first day you should say who you are and why you are doing a blog.  My name is Cheryl and my favorite thing in this world to do is knit and crochet.  I first learned how to crochet from my grandmother when I was little.  She got tired of finding her crochet items all messed up by me.  So she gave me a ball of yarn and a needle and showed me.  She was the best crocheter I have seen.  She would look at something and crochet it up.  Me, I need a pattern.  My moms friend taught me to knit.  Just the basic.  I taught myself the rest of the knitting stitches.  I love to do both. 

A bit of history of myself.  I am 56 years old.  I am married to my best friend.  We have been married for 13 years.  I have a household of animals.  2 standard poodles, 2 cockatiels, 1 tortoise, 2 bearded dragons, a hermit crab and about 15 giant kois fish.  I told you I had a housefull!!
